Mytton Fold Wedding: Amy & Christy

Sometimes I get to work with other wedding photographers as their second. The wedding of Amy & Christy was one such wedding and we had a great time capturing their day.

I arrived at the beautiful St Mary’s church in Goosnargh before the wedding party or guests to ensure I had a clear church to capture a few details and the wonderful architecture. Soon the guests and groom arrived and the church quickly filled. With the bride arriving wearing a wonderful calf length dress I knew Rob of Rob Georgeson Photography (primary photographer) had arrived too. As his second my role was to simply capture the sides of the day that he couldn’t, to get reactions and shots that one photographer just can’t get.

After the ceremony we headed over to Mytton Fold Hotel for the reception. The guests gathered in the bar area for a few drinks and canapes before heading into the main hall for the sit down meal. Sit down they didn’t. PC Roadshow got everybody loosened up and very quickly up on the chairs dancing. Great start to a fun evening.

The speeches were fantastic with one or two lovely heart felt stories but mainly laugh out loud comedy. The evening carried on filled with fun and celebration for a great couple getting married.
