About me

Hi, I’m Pete

Although Norwich born I’ve lived in Lancashire most of my adult life. With the beautiful countryside just a few seconds from my front door, ‘Home’ for me is getting out into the great big outdoors especially the hills, the mountains and forests.

I’ve always been a passionate creative eventually completing a degree in graphic illustration. Even though drawing and painting have been my ‘official’ route in the art world cameras, photography and people have always been that constant I’ve found myself deeply enjoying. In my twenties and thirties I spent some time teaching a range of creative subjects (photography, graphics, art & design) as well as play bass and vocals in a few rock/indie/folk bands.

Today I capture weddings, which hits all my happy buttons, and I also shoot a few other photography specialisms for a number of fantastic clients. For me photography isn’t work, it’s a life and passion that I am incredibly proud to call my own.

When I finally put my cameras down I can sometimes be found out on my road bike in my local area or on my mountain bike up in the Lakes. If not there I’ll be with my wife and son writing new adventures, making memories or watching a bit of Star Wars together.

All of this is bathed in music…. I love the music I love.
